According to The Work Environment Act (Swedish Work Environment Authority’s Use of hoists and lifting equipment AFS 2006:06) the employer shall ensure that employees who use mobile work platforms are trained with the necessary skills and knowledge to safely use such equipment in their work. After July 1 2007 employers must document the employee’s theoretical and practical knowledge. Acceptable proof of this is certified lift training.
Lipac offers certified lift operation training according to the lift curriculum LLP (“Liftläroplanen”) which is modelled on the international ISO standard for ISO standard for Operator (driver) training for mobile elevating work platforms – ISO 18878:2004. Lipac is one of the Lift Training Council’s (Liftutbildningsrådet) authorized training companies. ATTENTION. If you have booked a training course and wish to cancel you must do so at least 24 hours prior to the training session or we will bill SEK 500 per person booked to cover our costs.
The morning is spent indoors for a theoretic review:
The afternoon is spent outdoors for practical exercises:
After successfully completing the course participants receive a basic Lift Training Certificate. During the day each student gets an opportunity to try different types of lifts under realistic conditions. Training is conducted at Lipac’s facilities in Jönköping, Norrköping, Stockholm, Gävle and Borlänge. We can also conduct training courses at your company if there are enough participants. Lunch, morning & afternoon coffee and course materials are included in the participation fee. If you have additional questions or want to register for Lift Training, please contact the nearest Lipac depot.
Upon completion of training lift operators must have equipment introduction before operating a new lift model. The introduction is carried out on site by a trained lift operator from Lipac.
